Other upgrades
Recoil Lugs and Barrel Nuts. ASG022/ASG023 & ASG222/ASG223. While not a have to have, often the factory recoil lugs and barrel nuts are not true, so it’s a good idea to upgrade them.
What shank size is my savage?
Recent production Savages with 4.40″ hole spacing are typically large shank. The only way to know for sure is to measure your barrel diameter right in front of the barrel nut. Small shank will be approximately 1.040″. Large shank will be 1.1″+. Additionally, small shank barrel nuts are usually 7/8″ in length. Large shank are typically 5/8″ in length.
